Silver Helps Raise Relief Funds For China’s Earthquake Victims


Silver and Gov. David Paterson participate in the New York Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association fund drive to raise money for China’s earthquake victims. At the Chinatown news conference, Silver expressed his sympathies for the victims and commended the association’s efforts to raise relief funds for the people in central China's Sichuan Province, who were devastated in the disaster.
