In Closing Days Of Legislative Session
Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver (Center), Gov. David Paterson (Right) and Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno held a news
conference today to announce agreements reached in the final days of the legislative session on a series of significant issues,
including legislation to reform the state's Brownfield Program, extend Jonathan's Law, boost the Catskill Region's economy,
toughen the supervision of violent felons and improve the effectiveness of the Workers' Compensation Law.
