Assemblyman Braunstein Hosts Over 100 Blood Donors at Successful Northeast Queens Drive
“I'm proud to announce that over 100 Northeast Queens residents answered the call for urgently-needed blood donations at my office's 9th Annual Summer Blood Drive on August 5th. Thanks to their generosity, more than 300 lives will be saved,” said Assemblyman Edward Braunstein. “Special recognition goes to the New York Blood Center for its continued partnership and to the Cord Meyer Development Company for providing my office with space at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center for another successful drive. Thanks also to the New York Mets for providing free t-shirts to donors.”
All donors were also entered into a sweepstakes by the New York Blood Center to win a six pack of tickets to a New York Mets game. Janet Cohen of Bayside was the sweepstakes winner.
