Norris’ Annual Winter Clothing Drive Kicks Off Now

Assemblyman Mike Norris’ annual Winter Clothing Drive is kicking off this week with the public being able to start dropping off items at the Assemblyman’s office or the Lockport Town Hall this Wednesday, Nov. 18. Items will be collected at these locations until Dec. 14.

“Because of the pandemic we limited the locations this year but the need for warm winter clothing items will be greater than ever before so I hope our community will still continue to show its generosity to our neighbors in need this season,” said Norris. “Children’s boots are always in high demand and, as always, all items donated will stay within our community. Thank you so much to everyone who helps make this drive possible and for those who are donating.”

Gently used warm winter clothing items like coats, gloves, mittens, hats, scarves, boots and other items can be dropped off at the Assemblyman’s office in Clarence (8180 Main Street) or the Lockport Town Hall (6560 Dysinger Road) during regular business hours. If you need to make other arrangements for a drop off outside of those hours, please call the Assemblyman’s office at (716) 839-4691 to coordinate.
