photo Assemblyman Will Barclay is fighting for agriculture in Albany!
New York pride begins here

“New York has been enriched by the labor of our past and present farmers and it is our obligation to continue supporting farms in our community.”

-Will Barclay

Dear Neighbor,

Agriculture is the largest industry in Upstate New York and I am proud to have many farms within my district. Currently, farmers face many challenges – high energy costs, the price of gas, increasing operating expenses and high property taxes. Last year, we were able to address some critical issues for the farming community by providing direct funding to dairy farmers and by capping the annual increase of agriculture assessments. This year, I want to continue this momentum to make sure that farming is a priority for New York State.
