Morinello Kicks off Valentine’s for Seniors Program

Assemblyman Angelo Morinello (R,C,I,Ref-Niagara Falls) joined 3rd graders from Niagara Street Elementary School to kick of his Second Annual “Valentines for Seniors” program. This year’s program already features 10+ local public and private elementary schools in the Assemblyman's district; making valentines for seniors in the community who are in assisted living facilities, senior center participants or meals on wheels clients. Many seniors are widowed or living alone, and finding a special way to show some extra love on Valentine's Day makes a big difference.

“This is one of my favorite events of the year, and I am so happy to begin the second year of this program,” said Morinello. “Spending time with these children and seeing the joy on their faces, as well as knowing the happiness these cards will bring to seniors in our community, is truly a great feeling. I look forward to continuing this program for years to come.”
