Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara, Lanzi Family to Cut Ribbon on New Outdoor Patio and Bar at Lorenzo’s Southside

On Thursday, June 29th, Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara will be joining the Lanzi Family to cut the ribbon on the new outdoor patio and bar at Lorenzo’s Southside in Amsterdam. A century after the Lanzi family’s story in the restaurant business began on Amsterdam’s Southside, the family returned to its roots — with its fourth generation beginning to take charge and opening Lorenzo’s Southside, named for their grandfather. This newest renovation to the popular restaurant is its outdoor patio now complete with a beautiful bar crafted out of Purple Heart Wood in homage to the Greater Amsterdam School District’s color, purple.The bar is the first and only outdoor bar in the region.
