Santabarbara: Community Collaboration for Food Justice: Join the Conversation in Schenectady County

Schenectady, NY – On April 3rd, 2024, from 6 pm to 7 pm, the Schenectady County Food Council invites members of the media to participate in a pivotal community event focused on advancing food security, sustainability, and equity in Schenectady County. This event will be held at The McChesney Room, located at the Karen B Johnson Central Library, 99 Clinton Street, Schenectady.

This gathering serves as an opportunity for individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those involved in the food industry, passionate community members, and advocates for food justice, to come together and exchange insights. Through collaboration and dialogue, we aim to explore innovative solutions to enhance our community's food system.

Attendees will engage in discussions, share perspectives, and explore actionable steps to address food insecurity and promote equity within Schenectady County. RSVPs are encouraged, although not required, and can be submitted to schenectadyfood@gmail.com.
