Assemblyman Santabarbara Helps Deliver Relief to Amen Soup Kitchen Food Pantry in Amsterdam, NY
Earlier this week, Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara visited the Amen Soup Kitchen Food Pantry, where volunteers conduct a large-scale weekly food distribution serving an average of 800 families in need.
When the pantry experienced a sudden disruption in its supply of essential food distribution boxes, Assemblyman Santabarbara stepped in to help. Working quickly to find a solution, he connected with the Golub Corporation, securing the delivery of 1,000 boxes—ensuring the pantry could continue its critical work without interruption.
Assemblyman Santabarbara joined volunteers at the site to help unload the boxes and prepare the pantry for the next distribution day.
“No family should ever go hungry,” said Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara. “When I heard about the shortage, I knew I had to do something. I’m grateful to the Golub Corporation for stepping up, and to the incredible team at Amen Soup Kitchen for their continued commitment to serving our community.”
