Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara joined community members today at the Schenectady Hindu Temple in the Mont Pleasant neighborhood to celebrate the annual Holi/Phagwa festival.

Holi, known as the Festival of Colors, celebrates the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil. During the celebration, participants share in music, food, and the joyful tradition of tossing colorful powder, symbolizing unity, renewal, and the vibrant spirit of the community.

Assemblyman Santabarbara participated in the festivities alongside local families and community leaders, recognizing the importance of celebrating the cultural traditions that make the Capital Region diverse and vibrant.
