Assemblyman Santabarbara Hosting Drive-Thru COVID-19 Disinfecting and Sanitizing Event for Emergency Response Vehicles

Partnership with Quick Response to provide specialized service at no-cost to law enforcement, firefighters and EMS

Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara and the Quick Response team announce a new

partnership that will begin in Montgomery County this week aimed to provide no-cost

COVID-19 disinfecting and sanitizing for emergency response vehicles to help keep first

responders and communities safe and healthy during these challenging times.

The World Health Organization announced that the COVID-19 virus is primarily transmitted

between people through respiratory droplets and contact routes. To combat this spread on

surfaces in community-based settings, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

recommends cleaning visibly dirty surfaces followed by disinfection for prevention against the

virus and other viral respiratory illnesses. This service is critical to protecting the health and

well-being of our first responders and the community they serve.
