Ramada in Cobleskill Officially Opens with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

Assemblyman Chris Tague (R,C-Schoharie) joins town officials for the grand opening.

Assemblyman Chris Tague (R,C-Schoharie) and local leaders gathered today in front of the Ramada by Wyndham in Cobleskill for a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the official grand opening of the long-awaited hotel at 121 Burgin Drive. After years without a full-service operator, the property has reopened, bringing renewed economic energy to Cobleskill and greater Schoharie County.

“Today is a great day for Cobleskill,” said Tague. “For far too long, this property has sat in the dark and underutilized. Now, thanks to the hard work of Harry Snadhu, the operating partners, Bruce Tryon and the Cobleskill Partnership, Supervisor Werner Hemple, Mayor R.J. Freitag and so many others, the lights are back on.”

Joining Tague at the ceremony were former Rep. and current Assembly candidate Marc Molinaro, Cobleskill Town Supervisor Werner Hemple, Cobleskill Mayor R.J. Freitag and Bruce Tryon, president of Cobleskill Partnership Inc.

The Ramada by Wyndham Cobleskill is now open for reservations.
