DiPietro Honors Sam Cosmano for Years of Service to the East Aurora Community

Assemblyman David DiPietro (R,C,I,- East Aurora) presented Sam Cosmano with a proclamation from the New York State Assembly on Saturday recognizing his years of service and dedication to the town of East Aurora.

Cosmano is a lifelong resident of East Aurora, where he and his family have owned and operated small businesses for decades. A family man and a proud member of the East Aurora community, Sam has coached youth sports through the East Aurora Little Loop program and is well known for hosting hotdog sales to raise money for local youth programs. Sam is also a big supporter of the local Boys and Girls Club, and has recently become involved with the East Aurora Fire Police.

In addition to his eagerness to give back to his community, Cosmano is passionate about cars and racing. Sam served as the president of the local chapter of the Sports Car Club of America, and even started a slot car racing group in his free time.

“It is my pleasure to be able to recognize such a valuable and dedicated member of our East Aurora community,” DiPietro said. “Sam has spent his entire life engaging in and giving back to the town he loves. As a resident and lover of this town, my appreciation for Sam and all he does to make our home the best place it can possibly be cannot be overstated. A big thank you to Sam Cosmano for all you do. Never stop striving for better and fighting for what you believe in.”
