Smith Thanks Volkswagen Atlas for Donation to Suffolk County Community College

Assemblyman Doug Smith attended a celebratory event signifying the donation of several modern Volkswagen automobiles to Suffolk County Community College’s Technicians Department for practical instruction on the most modern of cars. As a staunch advocate for trade workers and students, Smith is just as thrilled as the students are for this opportunity.
“Thanks to the cooperation of both our wonderful SUNY team and our local dealerships, students will now get the incredible opportunity to work on the latest that the automobile industry has to offer,” Smith said. “As a member of the higher education committee, I’m incredibly proud to help our students get the real hands-on experience that will benefit them for years to come.”
