Bayside, NY - Assemblyman Edward C. Braunstein (D-Bayside) is happy to announce the four winners of his annual Halloween Essay & Drawing Contest. The grand prize winners are: 

• 2nd grade: Aiyan Liu, P.S. 159 in Bayside, Drawing, “The Friendly Witch”
• 3rd grade: Evan Yu, P.S. 159 in Bayside, Drawing, “Untitled”
• 4th grade: Marcus Lu, P.S. 32 in Flushing, Drawing, “Untitled”
• 5th grade: Ariel Xiaoyu Wang, P.S. 213 in Oakland Gardens, Drawing, “Halloween”

 “Ariel, Marcus, Evan, and Aiyan each submitted imaginative, detailed and festive entries to my office’s Halloween Essay & Drawing Contest. Their families and school communities should be very proud of their work and achievement,” said Assemblyman Braunstein. “I want to thank each and every local student who got into the spirit of Halloween and submitted entries to this year’s contest.”

 All winners received a special New York State Assembly Certificate of Merit and an Amazon gift card. All contest participants will receive a Certificate of Merit.
