“Gov. Hochul’s State of the State Address was just like every other; a pep talk full of platitudes. With so many questions New Yorkers have, we are entering year three of this pandemic with very few answers. That was a missed opportunity by Gov. Hochul. New York state is seeing a record breaking surge in COVID-19 cases and the governor has failed to address inadequate testing throughout the state. We need to focus on rebuilding our economy, making life more affordable in the face of rising prices and inflation, and improving communication and direction to school districts for better sustainability and support for our students. I look forward to being on the front line in Albany this year fighting for what matters most.”
