Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R,C,I-Deerpark) recently wrapped up his local small business tour that included stops at ACE Hardware, Pennyroyal Tattoo, Rookie’s Pizza, Random Acts of Consignment, Mattingly’s Tavern, Latino’s Food and The Ecletic Eye & Company. Brabenec was joined by Florida Mayor Daniel Harter and Florida Chamber President Jan Jansen.

“We had the opportunity to visit a diverse array of businesses in the Village of Florida, and I would like to thank all the owners and operators of these community staples for showing us around and giving us a behind-the-scenes peek into their daily operations,” Brabenec said. “Being an entrepreneur and a business owner in New York isn’t easy. The tax burden, regulations and emergence of online shopping can be stifling challenges, but the business owners we met are dedicated people and I will always be their voice in Albany advocating for their success.”
