Assemblyman Lester Chang (R,C-Brooklyn) announced today that he has been selected to serve on the standing committees of, Aging, Banks, Education, Housing, and Social Services. Chang represents the 49th Assembly District in Brooklyn, which consists of Sunset Park, Dyker Heights, Bensonhurst, and Borough Park.
“Brooklyn is facing many issues, including a lack of affordable housing, overcrowded schools and an ever-growing senior population that has been previously left behind. My work with international banking and service with elderly individuals during COVID has helped showcase the problems our state is facing. It’s time we start protecting and supporting the great residents of our state. Thank you to Leader Will Barclay for appointing me to these committees. I look forward to working with members from both sides of the aisle in hopes of bettering the lives of all New Yorkers,” said Chang.
