Walsh Welcomes Galway High School Students to State Capitol

Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C,I,Ref-Ballston) welcomed 33 high school seniors into the Assembly Chamber this morning for a fun and informative visit of the state Capitol in Albany. The Galway High School American Political Studies class, taught by Geoff Maliszewski, took a trip down to Albany to meet with their own elected official, Assemblywoman Walsh, to tour the Capitol and see state politics in action.

“It was a pleasure to have such an eager group of students from Galway visit and have the chance to talk to them about my role as a public servant in the Assembly,” said Walsh. “I am proud that they have taken the initiative to become politically informed, and I hope they all enjoyed their day in Albany as much as I did.”
