Terrorism has no place in New York or anywhere in America. Those who seek to murder Americans, attack our institutions or terrorize our communities must be identified, stopped and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

We will never allow fear or extremism to undermine our freedoms or our way of life.

I am deeply grateful to the FBI and our federal, state and local law enforcement partners whose vigilance and professionalism stopped this alleged plot before innocent lives were lost.
