Assemblywoman Solages Hosts Energy-Saving Presentation with PSEG Long Island and National Grid
Elmont, NY – Assemblywoman Michaelle C. Solages hosted an energy-saving presentation at Elmont Memorial Library on Sunday, October 11, in collaboration with Assemblywoman Judy Griffin, Nassau County Legislator Carrié Solages, and Nassau County Legislator Cynthia Nuñez. The event connected residents with utility representatives to learn about ways to reduce energy use, manage costs, and access available resources.
PSEG Long Island representatives discussed energy efficiency and programs available to help residents save. National Grid representatives also attended to answer questions and speak with residents about their utility needs. Bringing both utilities together gave attendees an opportunity to connect directly with representatives of the companies serving their households, particularly as colder weather approaches.
“Residents deserve to know what help is available as they deal with utility costs, especially at a time when affordability concerns are overwhelmingly prevalent,” said Assemblywoman Solages. “This presentation gave our neighbors a chance to ask questions and learn about practical ways to save. I thank PSEG Long Island and National Grid for taking part, as well as our collaborating elected officials and Elmont Memorial Library for helping to connect residents with these resources.”
