Assemblymember Steck to Host Online Town Hall Meeting

Assemblymember Phil Steck (D-Colonie) announced he will be holding a town hall on health care on Facebook Live on Thursday, Aug. 1, from 7 to 9 p.m. The online format will allow residents to tune in at their convenience, in the comfort of their home.

“The health care industry can be a confusing place and difficult to navigate,” Steck said. “I encourage everyone to join me through Facebook to ask any questions they may have about health care policies in New York, from problems they’ve encountered to the possibility of single-payer health insurance in our state. By staying informed of the issues faced by our communities, I can advocate for legislation that makes a difference.”

Steck will be hosting the town hall Thursday evening on Facebook Live, where he’ll be discussing health care policies in New York State. Steck invites everyone to submit any questions or comments they may have prior to the event by sending them to Steck through his Facebook page at www.facebook.com/PhilSteck110 or emailing them to steckp@nyassembly.gov with the subject “health care town hall.” People will also be able submit questions during the live stream.
