Queens, NY – Assemblyman Sam Berger (D-Queens) and Assemblyman Edward Braunstein (D-Queens) announced that they have secured $200,000 in state funding for Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York, Inc. (KCS) to support the installation of a new fire alarm system at its facility.

As KCS continues to grow and expand the services it provides to the community, ensuring that its facility has an adequate and modern fire alarm system is essential to maintaining a safe environment for the increasing number of community members, staff, and families who rely on its programs and services.

"KCS is incredibly grateful to Assemblymember Edward Braunstein and Assemblymember Sam Berger for their generous support of our Bayside headquarters,” said KCS President, Myoungmi Kim. “This investment will allow us to make critical improvements to our fire alarm system, helping us maintain a safer environment for our staff, clients, and community members. We deeply appreciate their commitment to strengthening the organizations and communities they serve."
