State Assembly Westchester Delegation Announces Public Budget Forum – Friday, January 31st

Legislators invite school, municipal and community leaders, and the members of the public to comment on the governor’s proposed 2020-21 New York State Executive Budget

The Assembly Westchester Delegation of the NYS Legislature invites members of the public, community leaders, municipal, school officials and individuals to share their views on the Governor’s proposed SFY 2020-2021 budget at a public forum on Friday, January 31st at:

Persons who wish to testify should contact Lisa Urban at Assemblyman Steve Otis’s office. Ms. Urban can be reached at (914) 939-7028, or by email at urbanl@nyassembly.gov. Those testifying should limit their presentations to three minutes, to allow for as many participants as possible. Please bring ten copies of your testimony to the public forum. Advance copies of written testimony would also be greatly appreciated and may be emailed as an attachment in any common format to the Westchester Delegation at urbanl@nyassembly.gov or faxed to Assemblyman Otis’s office at (914) 939-7167.

“Your input on key budget issues is critical,” said Assemblyman Gary Pretlow, who chairs the Westchester Assembly Delegation. “We urge you to make your voices heard and help us to advocate effectively for the needs and concerns of Westchester residents in this year’s budget process.”

Governor Cuomo’s Executive Budget Proposal will be available as of Tuesday, January 21 with the Governor’s budget presentation. Budget proposal details will be available at the NYS Division of the Budget website at www.budget.ny.gov after the budget is presented on that day.
