Assemblyman Charles D. Fall Partners with 9/11 Memorial & Museum & AMC Theaters to Host Commemorative September 11 Screening for Students on Staten Island

In honor of the 22nd anniversary of 9/11, my office is partnering with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and AMC Theatres to host a commemorative September 11 screening at the AMC Theater on Staten Island. This screening is a 30-minute film created by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, featuring first-person accounts of the hope, resilience, and unity that defined September 11, 2001, and the days and weeks that followed.”

“On the solemn occasion of September 11, I am proud to partner with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and AMC Theaters to host this commemorative screening that aims to remember and educate the students of Staten Island about the events of that fateful day. This screening will help gain historical perspective, remember and honor the victims and heroes, understand the global impact, and engage in critical discussions about contemporary issues and values. It will also provide a valuable educational opportunity to learn from the past and reflect on the world we live in today.” said Assemblyman Charles D. Fall “This event is a testament to our commitment to ensuring that the lessons of 9/11 are never forgotten.”

“Providing the opportunity for communities across the country to share the stories of service, compassion, and bravery captured in this film is critically important to fulfilling our promise to ensure future generations never forget,” said Elizabeth Hillman, President & CEO of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. “More than 100 million Americans have been born since September 11, 2001, and through this partnership we are able to reach even more of those without a lived memory of the day.”
