Assemblyman Charles D. Fall and Advocates Host Virtual Town Hall on Small Business Protection

Assemblyman Charles D. Fall (D-Richmond) partnered with Brooklyn Legal Services Corporation A, TakeRoot Justice and Volunteers of Legal Services and hosted a virtual webinar last evening to provide important information regarding the Commercial Lease Assistance Program to Staten Island small business owners impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Over 30 residents participated in the virtual event.

Representatives from the Minority Women Business Association, Staten Island Chamber of Commerce and Staten Island Business Outreach Center also participated and shared helpful updates, advice and testimonials on the efforts being conducted to protect small business throughout the city and Staten Island.

“I want to thank all the CLA providers and local sponsor organizations for their continued advocacy for the thousands of small business owners who are struggling to make ends meet during this pandemic.

Without our small businesses, our communities would not be able to survive this health crisis.  We must remain committed on assisting entrepreneurs.  This webinar is just one way of getting important information out to our business owners,” said Assemblyman Charles D. Fall
