Lavine Welcomes India Home Senior Center to Hicksville
Hicksville, New York – Already a well-established presence in Queens, India Home Senior Care is now bringing its wide array of services to Nassau County. Assemblymember Charles Lavine presented a citation and joined India Home leadership and members of the Indian-American community for a grand opening celebration at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Hicksville. Lavine, who presented a citation at the event, said, “I take tremendous pride in representing this community in the Assembly and have great appreciation for the great work being done by Dr. Kalasapudi and the entire India Home team. This facility will be a magnificent addition to this area, providing the growing Indian and South Asian senior population with social, educational, and wellness opportunities they would not otherwise have convenient access to.” The new India Home Senior Center was established with support from the Association of Indians in America-National, Guru Krupa Foundation, and the New York Community Trust.
