The grants were secured through New York State’s Community Resiliency, Economic Sustainability and Technology (CREST) program and the fiscal year 2025 state budget, as part of New York State’s ongoing efforts to support local communities and their economic development.
Of the grant awards, Levenberg said, "Schools are at the heart of every community, and supporting programs that enhance learning, safety, and student opportunities is always a priority for me. These investments will make a real difference for students, educators, and families, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact in the classrooms and throughout our communities.”
Stephen Walker, Superintendent of the Croton Harmon School District, said: “Spencer Field is more than goals and lines—it’s a place where moments are made, friendships are formed, and character is built.
