Gallahan: Unaffordability is Driving New Yorkers out of State

A Statement from Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan (R,C-Manchester) in response to a press conference led by members of the Assembly and Senate Minority Conferences to discuss New York state’s economic performance, competitiveness and outlook

“New York families and businesses are fed up—they cannot continue to just cross their fingers and wait for inflation rates to die down and the tax burden to go away. Our constituents deserve to know state lawmakers are prepared to step in, work together and form solutions to actively combat the statewide tax burden and affordability issues crushing communities. I am proud to join my Minority colleagues to discuss New York state’s economy and hear from experts so we can begin planning for the future.”
