Assemblywoman Buttenschon and Cornell Cooperative Extension to Host Don’t Get Ticked New York Forum

Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon (D-Utica/Rome) announced that she’s partnering with Cornell Cooperative Extension to host a virtual tick prevention forum on Monday, April 12 at 7PM.

As the risks of Lyme Disease and other TDBs grow across the country, Assemblywoman Buttenschon wants to take the needed steps to bring awareness to tick-borne illness, identifying ticks and prevention. Don’t Get Ticked New York will provide local and community education on ticks, uncover new research and feature a question-and-answer session.

Attendees can RSVP or submit questions to KnnopT@nyassembly.gov by April 11.

A recording of the forum will be posted on the Assemblywoman’s website after the presentation.
