Palmesano Meets with Future Farmers of America Students from TST BOCES

Assemblyman Phil Palmesano (R,C-Corning) recently met with Future Farmers of America (FFA) students from Tompkins-Seneca-Tioga (TST) BOCES to discuss how to better support our family farms and agriculture in New York state and the importance of our young people getting involved and making sure their voices are heard.

“I enjoyed spending some time talking to our FFA students from TST BOCES who were in Albany advocating on behalf of our family farms and agriculture in New York state. I especially enjoyed our time talking about the importance of our young and talented students getting involved and engaging their elected officials, as we work for them. These young people represent not just the future of farming, but they will also be our future leaders. It was my honor to meet with them and I encourage them to continue to stay active and involved in their advocacy, not just for our family farms and agriculture, but for all issues that are of importance to them. I wish them the very best as they pursue their future dreams and goals,” said Palmesano.
