Leader Barclay Delivers Opening Remarks and Welcomes New Minority Members
Today, Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay (R,C-Pulaski) delivered opening remarks on the Assembly Floor, where he emphasized the importance of making positive changes for all New Yorkers during the 2023 Legislative Session.
Leader Barclay expressed his concerns with the direction in which New York is headed, and urged legislators to address public safety, affordability, outmigration, as well as strengthen schools and bolster health care in our state. He insisted that finding common ground while developing common-sense policies will be the most effective way to help New Yorkers and, hopefully, reverse the very real outmigration issue facing the state.
In addition, Leader Barclay formally introduced the 13 newest Members of the Minority Conference.
