Barclay Kicks Off ‘Blessings in A Backpack’ Donation Drive

To help kickoff this year’s “Blessings in a Backpack” summer food drive, Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay (R,C-Pulaski) was joined by Lee Audlin of Blessings in a Backpack from Oswego and Craig Traub from Blessings in a Backpack in Fulton. These organizations and dedicated volunteers provide an invaluable community service and meet a critical need for many school-aged children. The drive, which collects snacks, soups and other food items for kids to have during the summer, continues through Tuesday, June 9. Donation items can be dropped off between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 19 Canalview Mall, Fulton. Drop-off boxes will also be made available at Save A Lot in Fulton and at Price Chopper in Oswego.
