Barclay Congratulates Local Art Students

The New York State Art Teachers Legislative Art Exhibit was recently held in Albany. Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,Iā€”Pulaski) met and congratulated four elementary students from the 120th Assembly District whose work was featured in the exhibit. The Legislative Exhibit is co-sponsored by the New York State Alliance for the Arts in Education (NYSSAE). The art is displayed in the Legislative Well in the Capitol Building. Pictured are Rocco and Betsy Nalli, parents of Isabella Nalli, a second grade student at McNamara Elementary School in Baldwinsville whose work was featured. Also pictured is Linda Doty, principal of Charles E. Riley Elementary. Kate Defio, a kindergartener at Van Buren Elementary School in Baldwinsville, a featured artist, is pictured with her parents, Karen and Daniel Defio, as well as her siblings, Luke, Jack and Ella Defio. Also pictured are Allyson Bruns, second grader at Riley Elementary and her mother, Jill, as well as art teacher at Riley Elementary, Rebecca Woods. Tatum Winchek, a first grader from Riley Elementary whose work was on exhibit, is pictured with her parents, John and Pamela Winchek, as well as siblings Frankie and Kathleen.
