Assemblyman Brian Maher (R,C-Walden) recognized the life and service of Pamela Hehn, a constituent from the 101st Assembly District, during the annual New York State EMS Memorial Ceremony held this week in Albany.

The ceremony serves as a tribute to EMS providers who dedicated their lives to caring for others and highlights the critical role emergency medical personnel play in communities throughout the state.

“As we recognize EMS Week and today’s memorial ceremony in Albany, we are reminded of the extraordinary dedication shown by emergency medical professionals each and every day,” said Meghan Hurlburt, chief of staff to Assemblyman Maher. “These individuals step forward during emergencies and moments of crisis to provide lifesaving care and support for families across our communities.”

Maher also recognized the memory of Pamela Hehn, a former EMS professional and resident of the 101st Assembly District, whose commitment to serving others reflected the values honored during the memorial ceremony.

“Pamela Hehn’s life and service left a lasting impact on those who knew her and the community she called home,” Hurlburt said. “Assemblyman Maher and our entire office extend our gratitude to all EMS providers throughout the Hudson Valley and New York state whose compassion and dedication continue to make a difference every day.”
